Barbie Hits The Ice In Exclusive New Collab

Proving that there isn’t anything Barbie can’t do, Mattel is teaming up with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) for a seriously cool collab that’s all about celebrating women in sports. The iconic toy brand is launching an exclusive collection with Toronto’s own Peace Collective that’s designed to empower, inspire, and turn heads both on and off the ice.

The collection is championed by pro hockey stars Emma Maltais and Maggie Connors of the Toronto Sceptres, who are bringing their passion for the game (and some serious style) to this purpose-driven partnership. It’s all about breaking barriers, embracing inclusivity, and proving that sports and fashion are the ultimate power play.

“The evolution of Barbie embraces any changemaker, inclusive of those redefining the professional sports league in hockey,” states Jennifer Gileno, Head of Licensing at Mattel Canada. “This unique collaboration marks a significant moment for Barbie, a brand that shares PWHL’s vision for breaking barriers in any respective field, which is a marker of which this collaboration is built and something we’re deeply proud of.”

The Barbie x PWHL collection is bringing the perfect mix of sporty and chic with a lineup that includes rugby shirts, cozy sweatsuits, a statement-making varsity jacket, and must-have accessories.

“Through our collaboration with Barbie and Peace Collective, we’re proudly celebrating the strength, resilience, and ambition of the athletes and fans who are driving the future of professional women’s hockey forward,” states Kate Boyce, PWHL Vice President of Merchandising. “Together, we’re inspiring girls and women everywhere to dream big and see themselves in the game.”

The Barbie x PWHL collab is available for pre-order exclusively at the PWHL online shop across Canada and the USA.
